CM A pillar weatherstrip r/r coupe

Greetings
Pinched my strip from over tight top. Patched the rip but it needs r/r. Got a used strip in fair condition that has some inside tears from removal. Is it worth install effort or should I spend the $400 for a new one while they ae available? Any removeal replacement tricks or drills? Any tear repair formulas? Any adhesive recommendations? Thanks foot

if you are going to repair, do it right and get NEW one, not used ripped one.

Thanks for the advice.
What are the install procedures for the weatherstrip? What adhesive should be used. I really want to do this right, the first time. Thank you
