CM Selective Ride

Hi all, I was wondering if there is a way to test the selective ride on my 03 Anniverary Edition Corvette? I move the switch between the 2 options but I dont seem to notice much of a difference. Ive had this car since last May and would like to be sure everything is operating normally, Thanks in advance, Chevrolee

Normally the system does a "self-check" each time you start up. If your not getting any trouble..service selective ride control....the system is ok, which you probably know anyway.

I can notice a difference in settings, but it depends on how hard you want to push the car.

Try some auto-cross & you will probably see a big difference.

Easy way to feel the difference between the two modes is to drive over a speed bump. On "tour" the car will try to soak up the bump. If its a particularly nasty speed bump, you may bottom out the floorpan. On "sport" mode, the suspension will travel much less and the car will pretty much just follow the contour of the road surface.

an old post but nothin to do on a Sunday afternoon being snowed in!
A common issue often overlooked on this particular corvette is the removal of the factory installed "stops" Check to see if you have anything yellow hanging from the tubes. I have read dozens of threads on this. Just recently a fellow bought an "Annie" with 22k miles and found the "stops still in there. The original owner never got to experience a very advanced suspension. I hope that is the issue as it is a very easy fix
