The passenger window today started to go up and down repeatedly, not all the way down; just like when you open or close the door it moves down just a little to open the door or up to close for a water tight seal. I lowered it a touch and it stopped. While driving I moved it all the way closed and it was fine. When I shut the car off the window moved down to the door opening position but the door was inoperable. This is on an '09 coupe with 7100 miles. TIA. | ||||||||||||||||||||

Simple fix, just hold the window button in the down position for 5 seconds, raise the window hold the button for another 5 seconds. The window is just relearning for the down and up positions.

If re-indexing the windows doesn't help, you might have a bad door switch.

Switch the touch pad to the other door. If the problem goes with it, you have a bad touch pad. They are about $12 at the dealer. Common problem!

HI there, Being an 09 with such low mileage, I would be suggesting to get it at least scanned to see what the computer is seeing. Also, at home, you can disconnect the negative battery cable and see if the condition returns after. Allthebest, c4c5 |
