| HI there, No, there is nothing definitive about any special procedure to Corvette lifting. All owners manuals and FSM use the standard jacking points and lift away. The reason for the c4 issue was that in convertible form, people realized that if they raised them with the doors open, they couldnt close them. This is because the c4 doors are structural parts that hold everything solid. C4 was rushed to market so quickly, there was never enough done for body structure in the convertible form of the car. Coupe was much better, but convertible suffered. Follow the lift points in your owners manual. Allthebest, c4c5 |
