HI there, Carlisle is without a doubt one of the finest events in the Corvette hobby. I get there Thursday before the event just to meet up with all the people we talk with throughout the year, settle in the hotel and get my stuff from the event. Friday morning the fun begins and is just amazing. You can go all 3 days, friday, sat and Sunday and still not see everything. My recommendation is to find someone who has already gone. Its so much fun to just wander, taking it all in and then deciding where you want to go afterwards and spend time. Hotels will be tough, because they all sell out soon after that years events end. Your best bet is to get a hotel thats about 20-30 mins away so that you can get a room. I usually recommend Mechanicsburg or Harrisburg. If you need any further information, check this website page for further assistance. http://www.carsatcarlisle.com/ce/events/corvettes/ BTW, dont forget to stop by and say hi to us while you are there. Good Idea! R building? I guess they give us maps upon entry. Some of us are staying in Enola as you know. Maybe a meet and greet at a close by Restauarant or right on the Carlisle grounds. We will be there about 1pm Friday leaving Sunday mid morning. Brent and Janet | ||||||||||||||||||||
