The 2008's are not part of this recall. The recall is for 2005 - 2007.

Have you made your issues known to GM?

If you want to remove GM from the problem, you can fix it by using marine grade epoxy yourself..

CM New Top

I got a new top installed by my local dealer on my 2006 Coupe. It was a perfect match for my LeMans Blue paint and I have had no problems. If it creaked, I would take it bake to the dealer. I agree that they must have done something wrong.
