Tool Guy, I,m deaf so can't hear the audio. Was that all clutch? I didn't see any tire spin. I hope that wasn't about how to test drive a new clutch. Mark.

8000 miles, the clutch wasnt even completely bedded in. What did he think was going to happen ????? c5/c6 clutches start on the outside clamping and move towards the center. There is NO WAY the clutch even had full clamping force and friction. What an idiot and obviously, the technicians didnt TELL HIM THAT!!!!! Stupid, glad hes got $1500 to waste. |

The audio is not important here, all you can hear is them saying they are going to roast the tires, since he needs new. Then you hear the engine revving, the guy gets out, says that was take one, or something and then discovers something serious is wrong! Eventually someone says that was not tire smoke and starts laughing. Yes, it was his clutch! LOL! The smoke and lack of tires spinning that was key!

I could never do that to a new Corvette.Actually I don't think that I've done a Burnout since I was in high school but that's just me! I don't understand how you could not know that the rear wheels aren't spinning??

It takes 8000 miles to seat a Z06 clutch? Every other clutch I've had says <500 miles.
