CM Where is the fuel pump relay for 1991 L98 and more!

I've been looking under the pass. dash and can't find that darn thing. Took off the glove box base and it's not there.

This car has not been started for 3 years (car was outside). Changed fuel pump and meter in tank. Changed ECM. Fuel pump does not work unless I use the bypass wire to 12v near the battery. It started for 1 minute (idled just fine with no skipping) until I pressed on the accelerator. It stalled and won't start again. Ignition switch has a hard time turning and at times, the starter won't engage.

Please help direct me.

Thanks,

Chuck M

HI there,
Your fuel pump relay is located on the firewall, near the master cylinder.

There may be more than one relay so look for the one with the 12 gauge purple wire.

Allthebest, c4c5
