Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum but I spend a lot of my time on CAC,I've been reading this forum awhile and I had to join up My nephew and I replaced the water pump, opti, timing cover gasket, etc. and I just wanted to know after sitting on jack stands for about a month or so what we should do before starting the engine to "prime it" or something? it hasn't been that cold here in Cali but it has rained quite a bit,I'm not sure if this will be an issue, we should have all the new parts, gaskets and ready to bolt t back together shortly. Thanks | ||||||||||||||||||||

HI there, There shouldnt be an issue, but I would definately crank over the engine with the fuel pump relay removed. This will push the fresh oil through the engine PRIOR to starting it. Allthebest, c4c5 |
