All because people are too distracted and unfamiliar with their cars to know how to throw one in Neutral?? http://www.nytimes.com/2010/03/03/bu...toyota.html?hp Anyone who ever drove a clunker with a carb knows how to deal with a stuck throttle!

You just can't fix stupid! Driver's tests should be harder and fewer morons should be allowed to propel 4000lbs at 80MPH down the interstate.

I just had a throttle stick, WFO. I was on a track in a kart that has an automatic trans. The ONLY way to shut it down was to pull the plug wire. I had to run about half a lap with it WFO. I barely stopped in the pits and a guy pulled the wire behind me. I couldn't get out or the kart would take off again as I had my left foot mashed on the brake. It was only 100cc Yamaha but it still makes for exciting events. (Nothing like hitting 35mph turns @ 65!)

No neutral? I'd blow a motor before I'd careen over a cliff!
