CM 1 - 4 shift relay

I have read threads about guys getting around the 1-4 shift nuisance by crawling under the car and unplugging the connector on the transmission and taping the ends or by using a 'skip-shift eliminator'. Whats wrong with just unplugging the 1-4 shift relay near the battery? '92 LT1 and ZF6.

There are bypasses for the C5, but I just increase the revs and the light goes off, so it does not bother me.

Now go play with your tools!
