CM 1996 CE vibration

Hit a pot hole doing 80 mph 8 years ago. Immediate vibration but could drive home. Had vibration at all speeds. New run flats were installed on front, and replaced rims on right with repos. Had alignment, shop didnt mention a bent frame and said suspension was ok. The low speed vibration went away, but still have vibration above 63 mph felt in steering wheel. Passenger seat back vibrates above 63. Recently noticed steering wheel seems off center but car drives straight.
Hunter balancer showed road force of 33 on right front, 28 on back, cupping on left rear slight. Have Kumhos on back, OE runflats on front. LTPWS sensor was damaged by tire shop but replaced, but now have SERVICE LTPWS light ( tried to clear it with a TECH ONE- light came on 3 days later).
I guess next step would be to replace tires on front as they are 8 years old, but does anyone have other thought on how to get rid of this vibration?

Hi there,

First course of action should be to have a technician use an EVA 2 vibration analyzer to determine where the vibration frequency is and if its tire, propshaft or something else.

Your roadforce readings for only 2 tires, why ??? I would need all 4 but that is suspect. Your tires being mismatched will create a chassis imbalance but should not cause a vibration.

And considering that your developing this issue through 8 years, Im not leaning tires at all.

I would be seriously looking at the universal joints.

BUT ACCURATE ANALYSIS WITH AN EVA 2 should be your next course of action.

Thanks for your reply. I forgot to mention I did find a U-joint out on the R rear half shaft (it was scratched half way around)) and replaced the joint, checked balance of shaft and reinstalled. Didnt check main drive shaft.
Road force on two left tires was 11.
I had the car pretty much in storage because was involved with total restoration of a '68 'vette.
Is the vibration analyzer something most Chevy dealers have and do you suggest anyone in Southern Indiana or Midwest?
