All right c4c5 Spring is here and it is your chance to once again suggest I use GM original parts! 2002 C5. What do you say about K&N oil filters and a Filtermag filter magnet? Thank c4c5 and all.

HI there, The K&N oil filter is a quality part that does not perform any better than stock. Its a good filter, but there is no comparable improvement over OEM. As for the magnet, dont waste the money. Micron filtration rating will be enough. Allthebest, c4c5 |

Filter question our car requests a PF44 oil filter. What would be involved with changing to a PF46 or 48. Has anyone done this change. I assume protection would be the same, would it just be a matter of changing the thread insert in pan. | ||||||||||||||||||||

HI there, PF46 is the correct filter. PF48 is for a larger diameter outlet and will not fit on LS1/LS6. Allthebest, c4c5 |
