Jumper Chevolet have an ad in todays paper (AJC) for a new C6 Vette at $39,999.00.

MSRP is $50,535.00.

That is 79.15 percent off sticker price... 20.85 percent below MSRP.


This is NOT a stripped model...

Equiped with:

Auto with paddle shift
Sports bucket seats
Heads up display
Memory package
Heated seats
6 disc CD player
Bose 7 speaker package
XM radio and more

Anybody have a guess what the 08 models are adding to corvette that would make dealers try and move as many c6s as possible..?

If that is a real car and not a bait and switch, then C6 resale values just went down. I wasn't aware they were below msrp, but 10.5k off is huge if it is real.

C6s have been selling for far less than window around here. Not even a month ago, I saw a dealer advertising $10k off MSRP of all remaining 2006 C6s and $6k off 2007s. Z06 excluded of course. Those still get $5-10k above window.

$6k below msrp, or off the double bump (adjusted market value), and it was on an '07 model?

It was $6k off MSRP on all '07 coupes and convertibles.

I just got something in the mail telling me that I can get $14k off any '06 Suburbans they have left. Must be some major factory incentives going on to get those old GMT-800s out of inventory.

I've never heard of a dealer actually advertising a discount off their markup price.
