From what I see in all the posts, 2 years or 24,000 miles is the right interval for changing clutch and brake fluid. Is using the turkey baster method ok on my 2004 corvette? Both fluids show no unusual sign of wear. Thanks

Hi there, Not really. The fluid must be flushed clean through the individual systems. Allthebest, c4c5 |

My question is this: Is it possible to actually bleed the clutch from the slave cylinder? Is it as simple as removing the exhaust and the close out plate with a million bolts and then I can get to the bleed port?

You can sort of get to the clutch slave from underneath, but its a real pain in the butt. And you get brake fluid all over as there is no decent way to get it out. Of course, its been a few years since I've tried it, maybe i should give it a go again. When you do the brakes, don't forget the abs. Preferred method is a tech2. Most of us track rats just go out and lock the brakes up somewhere and swap the fluid in the abs system that way.
