|  Muffler hangers
My '85 has broken right muffler hanger. The style the car uses is something of a loop that bolts into the frame insulator. It is no longer available at the ten or so places we all usually look for parts. What is available--and some say supersedes my style, is something of an L bracket. Anyone have thoughts?? Found a correct '85-style bracket at Shepherd Chevy in Il. Shipped to my door for $15. Real treat to install, but it's in! Whose bright idea was it to not thread the frame bolt hole but use a nut??? Arrrggg! | ||||||||||||||||||||
