CM Replacing carpets

Thinking of replacing my carpets and door carpet on my C4.

Was just quoted $400 labor. I was told it’s a pain.

Anyone have an experience with this task? Price fair? Preference on repro carpet vendor?

Hi there,

Well,
$400 labor depends on how many hours they are talking about.

Its not that bad, once you take out the seats.

I'm kinda getting that from my Corvette club members who have done it. It's just time consuming--not tough.

The $400 was a complete job--including door panels, quote. Same place wanted $85 to just attach my missing driver's side window wipe--with rivets, not staples as the factory had originally done. I passed on that. Again, waiting to hear what the interior guys have to say next weekend. Maybe I should bring the wipe???

I'm going to look into it more in Effingham. I plan to go to the Interiors seminar.

Hell, for all I know, the fading isn't that bad--but the cargo mat sure does look very dark in comparison to the carpets.!
