CM 2008 YF5 CA Emissions question

Is there a hardware or software difference in 2008 Corvettes with RPO YF5 CA emissions vs. standard federal emissions requirements? I have read conflicting posts on other forums. Some claim it is only an underhood label required for CA, PA, CT and RI certification, and others state there is a difference in PCM, and smog equipment etc.

Does it have any impact on horsepower or performance?

HI there

As of what I see, no hard parts are different meaning the PCM, catalytic converters and the like.

It is possible that there is a calibration change between those, but without a VIN to compare, there isnt anyway to be sure.

Allthebest, c4c5

Hi there,

From what I see, there is no calibration difference, so there should be no power difference.

Usually if there is a difference it is in the evaporative emissions, not tailpipe.
