Correct. He posted a picture of the label in a recent thread.

I am so frustrated with the “service column lock” and consequent fuel shut off on my wife’s 98 auto. We did the correct battery and proper torque on the posts per the MAMFF video. We did the “K” harness and then removed the “K” harness. We removed the column lock plate per GM fix. Still not fixed. I am taking the car ...this Monday to Black Dog Speed Shop in Lincolnshire Ill. To have the fuel shutoff reset to 200mph and have the column lock programmed out of the PCM’s memory. Am I the only one out there who is at this point of frustration? I feel alone with this problem as the shop tells me they have done all the GM recommended fixes and don’t know what else to do. If this were any other car I would…. Well let’s just say I would not have the same tolerance for reliability problems. Love the beautiful ones no matter how often they break your heart.See More

Did you test the battery to see if it in fact is good? Is it the correct AC Delco battery recommended for your car?

Yeah, I was just as PO'd at the same problem, and to add insult to injury, my vehicle was still elegible under the recall and GM still refused repair it. This situtation was a serious black eye for GM, not only in that the problem existed, but more importantly in how they handled it. Truly poor.

Like Junkman said, make sure to have your battery properly load tested with a carbon pile tester as even new battery's can be bad. Good luck with it.
