It is made by Solar and can be purchased from Mid America or other suppliers.

Solar makes 2 different battery testers, SOLBA5 and SOLBA7. Not sure which one Mid America has. I found them on Amazon .com. The SOLBA7 for 58.80 with free shipping

I was at the seminar at Carlisle (August 2010) and was quite interested in your description of the column lock problem. I have a 2001 vette, you mentioned an AC Delco part number for this year. I did not have a pencil or paper with me (same mistake won’t happen next year) can you please provide the correct number. By the way I was going to come up and thank you after the seminar for all the tips and tricks over the years but you were mobbed.

After I posted the ?? I watched the video at the beginning of the thread I found the correct battery that Paul recommended for the C5….786yr/7yr professional, RC 120. I currently use an Optima Red Top with a RC90. Looks like I may be upgrading in a while.
