CM 1987 L-98 Covette engine cam lift potential??

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how much lift you can use on an '87 L-98 without having to machine the guide bosses on the heads and/or the pistons for piston to valve clearance???

Thanks,
vettebob

Not sure how different yours is than my '85, save the rollers, but I'm running .464 with no grief.

CompCams and Edlebrock have an excellent support staffs who can give you exact answers.
