Hello everyone!! Does anyone know how hard this is to replace and how much the dealership would charge approx for part and labor?? Thanks very much in advance for any info. I have a 2001 A4 'Vert........ I appreciate it!

If you require it replaced, it is probably due to the foam seat cushion being broken down. Check it and see. If yes, and I'm almost sure it is, you will have to replace the foam and possibly the wire suspensions ( 8 ). I am 6'5' 220 # and 115,000 miles. I went through the same thing. Once you replace the foam and possibly the wire suspensions and the bezel, you will be scott free and no longer break the bezel. I placed a piece of auto carpeting between the foam and the wire suspensions to eliminate the wires cutting through the foam. It is not a snap job. If it is done properly, it will last a long time.
