My car is a 2006, Z-51 Coupe. I have a friend who told me who told me about the alleged benefits of buying a Diablosport Predator Performance Tuner. Has anyone ever used one of these things? What, if any, benefit was gained? Thanks.

I'm not saying you don't know what your doing, but the C6 is quite complex and all the computers on your car talk to each other. Damage can occur if it's done wrong. That's why GM will void a warranty if they see a modified tune. FWIW~ I have a 2006 Z06. My car was "tuned" about a year ago by a pro. Since it was done on a dyno, my increase was 21HP. (474 to 495.) A friend of mine had his done @ the same time (2008 Z.) He went from 438 to 465. An increase of 27hp. Both cars are bone stock. No CAI, no pipes, no nothing. It's not really noticeable in 1st or 2nd as the wheels just spin. It is VERY noticeable in 5th or 6th when you want to increase speed slowly. (6th is now like the old 5th, and 5th is now like the old 4th.) | |||||||||||||||||||||
