CM DIC Message Choices
Do I have a choice of what message is normally displayed on the DIC? I thought there was, but can't find anything in my Owner's Manual. Right now it displays the odometer, but I'd really prefer no message at all.

If you could give me directions and/or point me to the right place in the manual I'd appreciate it.

i think if you keep pushing the "trip" button you will come to a blank on the display
corvette owner since 1959, new corvettes owned 1959, 62, 63, 64, 65,66, 97, 99, 2002, 2005, 2008 BEST VETTE YET !!!, retired race engine builder, former NASCAR tech inspector.

My C5 does that annoyingly, but I have never tried to keep it there. Maybe it will.

That would be redundant with the "Corvette by Chevrolet" message you get at startup.
