Question Ethanol Increase in older models
As GM technicians, do you think the increase from 10% ethanol up to 15% ethanol what effect do you think it will have on our V8 be they GEN. 3,4 &5 as well as the early LSX V8's (1999 to 2008) or even older engines ?

The ethanol is cheaper than refined gasoline - and you can bet that the dealers will not lower the fuel prices.

This whole 'Ethanol' deal is looking like the 'Bridge to Nowhere' to me. It does little to clean the air and since it burns at a lower temperature, we use more of it. So we going to be back to the gasoline stations pumps more often. The corn lobby get its perks, the farmers get a bonus, and we get more expensive whiskey gas in our tanks. What a way to run a country ?
