|  GS A6 with hard downshift
When I first start out or when the car has been sitting all day there is a hard downshift when stopping. It goes away completely as the car warms up. It's done it since it was new and has about 2000 miles now. Should I be concerned about it or let it go.

See if there are any codes stored. It may/may not trip the CEL. Does it do it with the paddles also? | ||||||||||||||||||||

No codes. I haven't tried the paddles - I'll try tomorrow. It almost seems like it holding it in gear to long, then releases with gusto...
