Attacks on server and resolution

If the site appears to run slow or is inaccessible at times it's because my server is getting hit with massive dos attacks from China. I am working on resolving this issue.

When dos occurs it hammers away making requests usually to a specific site on a server that they are trying to wreak havoc with..... unfortunately it affects the whole server with the dos requests thus not allowing legitimate users to view the site or even bring it up in extreme cases which I am witnessing and I'm not too happy about it.

I know which site on my server is being attacked (it is not CM) but as I said, it affects the whole server.

I am working with a coder to block any and all of these dos attacks which by the way are by law illegal, when they come from over seas its not possible to have them banned from their service provider.

I have all the logs, when know who, when where..... and we are working on it.
