CM Did a "stoopid" with the ignition/batt

I needed to crank the wheel l/r to get at the caliper brackets & other stuff & left the key on for several hours (I am such a slow worker - but very thorough & it came out fine).

Killed the batt, jumped it & all is good except the ck eng light is on.

I only drove it one cycle so far as it night & time for other stuff.

I assume light will go off in another cycle or two.

I did not pull codes because I think it's that simple.

Yes/no?

I would pull the code to be sure that it was not related to the work you performed. Stranger coincidence's have happened. Depending on the stored code, it could take a lot more than 2-3 drive cycles (not just key on and key off's, but complete drive cycles) of no malfunction to turn off the CEL.

Slow worker that is me too Froggy. But my late brother-in-law asked me to help his son do his brakes. He watched me do mine and told his son I would teach him how to do the job right. Harvey had his Nascar license and built his own race cars for the small tracks. Gotta be one on each coast.
