I have a 2009 ZO6 with 6,800 miles on it. The seat belt warning light pops on when I am wearing the seat belt. If I jiggle the thing you insert the belt into or adjust the angle of the seat the warning light goes off. Any ideas? Thank you, rdc

It could be a sticky seat belt latch switch, sometimes spraying silicone spray in the latch and using it multiple times can free it up if it is just sticky, but not if it is a mechanical problem. I would definately let the dealer take a look at it and get in on file that there is a problem, this is a safety concern and manufacturers take it very seriously. Good luck with it.

The way you make it go off leads me to think about a pinched/crossed wire that comes off the female section of the belt latch. Get a light & look down there & run the seat thru it's motions & see if you note a bind/pinch/cut in the wiring there. Or a connection that does not look tight. :)

I have silicone spray and will give it a shot. If that doesn't work I will take it to the dealership. Thank you, rdc
