The oil pan on my 07 is always wet.Not to the point that it drips on the floor but it just seems that the casting is weeping. Again,no puddles.Never burns oil,LS 2 has been great.Every bolt has been checked.None were loose. I'll try to post a very good pic of it.Thanks in advance. Jeff

My 07 looked the same, the pan gasket was leaking, took oil dye to find the problem. Tom

Cast aluminum is porous! I've never seen it that perfect though. Are you sure you don't have a MAG oil pan? (Wouldn't that be cool!) Spray the whole thing with contact cleaner, wipe it down. Drive it and look for where the leak(s) originate. If the pan gasket bolts are "too tight" they may still leak. Or, maybe you are using some "super thin" oil?
