CM LS3 -LS7 Air filter assembly

Are there any differnces (other than the helmholtz resonator on the LS3) between the LS7 and LS3 air filter assemblys? I saw an LS7 assembly for sale at a good price on another forum and was thinking of swapping it on my LS3. Seller and some others claimed the LS7 assemlby flowed better. Both are '08s.
Thanks for any info.

The LS3 and LS7 filters are the exact same part number. The actual assembly differs with the LS3 using a silencer box to reduce intake noise. The LS7 filter assembly does not flow better. The LS9 (ZR1) filter is worth a few hp, some have swapped using the LS9 filter in the LS7 or LS3. I heard the fit was a little snug.
