CM Front wheel camber adjustment

I have an 06A and the front tires (and the rears to a much less amount) have been wearing much more on the inside of the tire that you cannot see regularly. I have been having the tries dismounted and remounted on opposition rims to rotate the wear. The shop tells me that inner edge tire wear is normal for performance cars and not to worry , the car is not out of alignment. Opinions please...

HI there,

Yes, they do wear that way based on the alignment specifications from the factory.

You can have a GOOD alignment shop/dealer set the alignment to the least negative camber that is still within the factory spec and the tires will wear more evenly. The spec is a range not a single number.

If you do this you are trading off the superior handling in turns/curves for better tire wear.

Can't have both.

I set mine close to zero and only notice a difference at speeds close to 150 mph .I can also get 30-40,000 miles out of a $1200 set of tires .

Thanks for all the good ideas! Since I have only had it up to 165 twice and that was on a straight road I think I will go for the better tire wear and put is less neg camber.

That actually doesn't look like bad wear. Your in the wear bars across the tire.

8600 miles though. OUCH!
