I hope I can jump in here. I have posted before on pull key wait 10 seconds. I have a 98 c5 automatic. I had a k harness installed in october of 2009. I had the fuel shutoff increased to 254 mph. Everytime I start the car I get pull key wait 10 seconds. After I start it I get service column lock. No codes show up. I have a new battery. New Key. New ignition switch. Don't know where to go next. Any help would be appreciated.

After some months I had the pull key msg (only) again. I suspect the pellet on the backup key. I also have a new key, so if I start getting it more than once every week or two I will start using the new key. I examined & measured the wear on the contacts that hold the pellet & they do wear a lot. So it was good for about 1 year. FYI | ||||||||||||||||||||
