Does the door panel have to be removed to change out the door release button bezel (the formed aluminum trim piece surrounding the door release button) on the drivers and passengers doors? Does anyone know the procedure to remove and re-install the bezel? Any input is appreciated. Thanks - Scruff Vette | ||||||||||||||||||||

HI there, Its always recommended to remove the door panel, so that nothing is broken. Allthebest, c4c5 |

I want to lose the tacky looking aluminum colored interior door unlock surround bezels. There are thin aluminum stick ons in various colors that require no removal of the bezel. If I cannot get the appropriate color stick on bezel, than I will try popping mine off without removing the door panel, and paint them in a black satin. I have heard that they pop off using a small screwdriver or butter knife - and thus it is not necessary to remove the panel. I don't know this for a fact as of now. I will keep you posted.
