horn keeps going out

need some hepl i have a 2006 LS2 no mods, the high tone keeps blowing out. this is the third time this has happened ohave checked the wiring around the horns can not see any brakes or if it is shorting out any one ever have this happen to them
any help would help and thank you very much in advance

Periodiclly,my horn goes on strike and doesn't work for a couple of days and then retruns to normal. I learned to live with it as every time I take it to the dealer it works fine.

Hi there,

I would be checking a few things.

Direction of the horn note, making sure that is pointing down. I have seen many that pointed the wrong way, when the car was washed, would funnel water into the horn, shorting it out.

Check that closely.

GM must have had some bad horns because i have had the both horns on the mrs 2004 impala replaced.
