CM Hvac problem

Got hot air blowing from pass vent all the time. Can't vary temp from that vent. I had the entire dash removed in 08 and the scroll ,which was torn , replaced along with at least 2 acturators. The problem seems to be back. Still under extended warranty. Any simple solutions? Vette is an early 05.

I had a problem that the drivers side was fine but the passenger side blew cold air .I frigged with it for months then a wise man (GM Junkie )said it was probably the memory .I thought he was nuts but he wasn't --It was the memory.

Which memory are you referring to? How did you fix the problem?

Sorry I'm referring to the 3lt option .Door buttons on the drivers door that controls seat memory ,radio, temp, mirrors etc. all I did was erase the settings completely and bingo .It seemed totally illogical that it couldn't be manually overridden. All I can say is the person who gave me the advice was correct in my case.Good luck to you .

I will keep this info for future reference. Last nite I disconnected the battery and reconnected it this AM. The problem is solved. I probably reset the actuator when the battery was off line. . Your's may be another solution. In 08 I had to have the entire dash removed and the scroll and actuators replaced. The scroll was badly torn. Was not looking forward to having this done again. Thanks for responding.
Regards,
Al

HI there,

I would be checking for DTC, as there are a few issues with calibrations.

I would be checking that very very closely.

Paul,
Would an OBD2 scanner pick up this type of code or do I need access to a Tech 2? There is no "check engine" light showing.Al
