|  1987 Corvette rear hatch release??
The electric hatch release on my 1987 Corvette is inoperative. There appears to be a cable release on the latch assembly that goes forward, but I can't find where it is. It looks like a manual cable release in case the electric release won't work, but I'll be darned if I can find a manual release in the car. Anyone know where it might be located? I don't have an owners manual nor a factory service manual for this car yet... Thanks, vettebob | ||||||||||||||||||||

These are from 89 coupe. Hope it helps. I have had my hatch trim off several times but never noticed a cable.   | ||||||||||||||||||||

Thanks. I found the cable, and repaired the electric solenoid.
