CM Cracking, Popping, Knocking...

Not sure how to describe the popping, knocking sort of noise that my 2008 Z06 makes when I am turning sharply going forward or backing. Is this normal? Sounds like something is binding or something. It only happens when I am turning sharp or backing. It also seems worse in colder weather. Should I take it in for a look? Thanks for any help or suggestions everyone!

P.S It sounds like it comes from the front when going forward and sounds like it is coming from the back when I am backing while turning sharply.

Changing the rear differential fluid with GM fluid usually takes care of that issue.
