I am changing my Plugs soon in my C6. What is your advice on using an Anti Seize product on the Plug Threads? Is this required?

I have always used anti seize on all spark plugs that I install. Gm recommends not using anti seize, and to instead use a small amount of engine oil on the threads. You definately want to use one or the other.

AC/Delco plugs have a coating that negates the need for anti-seize, and in fact, anti-seize will create problems, fouling, poor torquing, etc. C4C5 Specialist covered this exact topic at a seminar last summer. He was pretty empathic that the drop of oil path is the way to go.

Yeah, it will. It will foul the plugs and prevent proper seating and sealing. Wanna see mine from the mechanic who didn't head GM's wishes?
