CM rich cond.78 vette

My 78 L-82 auto has a rich carb condition that I cannot diagnose .When cold its hard to start and keep running but oonce its warm it runs great but is rich.It has a new jet replacement carb { guadrajet} ,whats up with my car?

HI there,

I would be looking first at your idle mixture screws at the base plate.

See how many turns it takes to seat them gently. Then turn 2 complete turns out, and see if that changes it.

Make sure to note how many turns in it took to get them to seat and post back.
