| I have a 2002 (my first) and have two problems. One is the left headlamp doesn’t stay down. I’ve read the service bulletin for the 2000 model year (washers & insulator) and a friend said that it could be a vacuum leak. I don’t hear any grinding and if you hold down the assembly it will stay closed. The second is the high pressure power steering hose is leaking. Is that something that can be replaced in my driveway with jack stands or do I need a lift or special tools. Any idea what the R & R time is? Thanks for any help you can provide. | ||||||||||||||||||||

Corvettes have NOT used vacuum for the headlights since 1982. It was only for the C3s. Most likely the problem is a worn bumper. But, check the alignment as well. I'd recommend getting a set of Helms manuals before attempting any repairs. | ||||||||||||||||||||

That's what I thought, thanks for the reply. I will purchase a set of Helms Manuals.
