CM How to find a Vette Tech?

Hi, I drive a 2004 C5 Z06 Z16 and have had no luck finding a Vette Tech in Virginia. Is there a directory? I need to get some regular maintenance done like brake fluid flush and complete coolant replacement, but I barely trust anyone to do the state inspection.
For example, today I was watching the local AAA garage do the annual VA state inspection...guy didn't know how to put down the hood, I was watching ('cause I don't trust them) and stopped him when he started yanking on one side to get the hood down, he said he didn't know why the hood wouldn't go down...obviously doesn't know anything about Vettes.
I just don't trust mechanics around here. I've had to take my wife's Traverse back three times to get the paint right on the front bumper where a highly regarded shop in the area did some repair work, they just couldn't get it right (didn't match, then runs, and fish eyes, in the shop now one last time, I hope).

So, how do I find someone I can trust with my car? I do all of my own work otherwise.
Thanks in advance.
AL.

Ask your local corvette clubs who they use, they are a wealth of knowledge.

The alternative would be call the GM dealers and ask if they have a World Class Technician on staff. They're the highest evolution of GM specialist.

That being said, I wonder how far back that training goes? My car is older than a lot of the guys who would work on it....

Join a local Vette club, or just go to a couple of meetings, and ask where the members take their cars.
