|  Low Oil Pressure c5
Just wondering what's is going on with my oil pressure in my 02 coupe. I just got done changing the oil with Mobil 1 and a Mobil 1 oil filter. At idle I can hear the lifters, bring the idle up mildly and it's quite. Pressure at idle is 30-35. Can it be the oil filter or is there a oil pump problem ? How many miles, what oil brand & wgt , z06 or regular?

Ok c4c5specialist Froggy47 27,000 miles Oil, Mobil 1 extended performance Gold label 5-30 Mobil 1 oil filter Body regular targa top I started it up in the garage and at Cold start 48 lbs 125 * 45 lbs 150 * 41 lbs hot 38 lbs this time Highway speeds 55 lbs Thank You again......... | ||||||||||||||||||||

That all seems good to me, you sure you are not hearing the fuel injectors ticking at idle? They are pretty loud on some cars. LS motors are not prone to lifter noise that I am aware of, there is the piston slap thing though. :) | ||||||||||||||||||||

c4c5specialist Froggy47 Thank You for the replies Last night put on a filter that I bought from the Chevy dealer. Topped off the oil crossed my fingers...........And nothing but a little injector noise. Maybe I had a bad filter ? Maybe I was a hair shy on oil ? I don't know Either way the motor is quiet again.
