CM c4/5 on alignment

zo6, I want to run regular c5 alignment for max tire life until I can get another car for a daily driver instead of the z. do I need to ensure shop changes caster or is reg c5 specs with z caster ok? thanks. sucks that I am having to use my z as daily driver but other car took a motor dump and will be down for up to a year.

Hi there,

The caster can stay at the stock setting.

In order to get maximum tire life, you will need to set your camber setting at 0.0 per wheel and the toe set to 0.05 at each wheel.

That will get the maximum life out of the tires.

Allthebest, c4c5

I used these specs on my '98 when I last bought new tires in 2005. Still got 'em on the car, now with 40K+ miles on the tires and the fronts are wearing evenly across the tire...no cupping or uneven wear like before with the stock GY's. I'm just a normal cruiser type drive and don't race so this has been perfect for me.

Good luck.

Thanks

Can I assume that these specs are within the tolerance for those specs? I’m guessing they are the nominal values before tolerances are applied. Am I correct?

Also, are the specs for all 4 corners? Or are there different specs for minimal wear for the rear?
