CM Brake Pedal Noise

When I depress the brake pedal and when I let it back up there is a rubber squish noise. The brakes work fine and the squish sound hasn't gotten worse. This started about a month ago. 2009 Z-51, 27,000 miles.

Hi there,

It could possibly be your vacuum booster that helps assist the brake operation.

I would suggest removing the lower cover under the dash and look to see if anything is rubbing on the brake pedal.

Allthebest, c4c5
