These are the pics from Carlisle 2006. First one is the Corvettemechanic celebrity pick, 1985 Tunnelram 350 racing engine and a wonderful couple who owned the vehicle. Bill Miller is on the left, Miss Carlisle in the center and Lance Miller on the right The next one is the seminars, which were standing room only for both days. Special thanks to Lance Miller for all the wonderful support and we cannot wait for next year. |

Park on the grounds or enter a fun display you will love it. As for a room there are plenty of options you just have to travel a little maybe20-30 minutes. Harrisburg isn't far and there are great places to stay with good rates and plenty to see and do. The closer you get the higher the price and less availability. It is worth all the effort especially if you haven't been there. Camping is also an option right next to the grounds. Bring the vette for sure. Nothing like it

Hey Guys! I am busy on a project car to be driven from Florida to Carlisle for this event. This will be my first trip there. The car is a 1985 Corvette with 91-96 body panels. It will be running a LS2 (waiting on the crate to arrive now)...with the L92(?) head/cam/intake package installed mated to a 4L60E from a 01 Silverado...shift kit and stall converter tied to the grenade waiting to blow D36. The car will be sitting on competition gray C6 wheels and killer C5 brakes from VB&P. If all goes well (and I don't know how it will work yet) - the digital dash will still be alive. Right now the car is in primer and we are starting the guide coat and blocking phase. I already cut the frame and prepared it to accept the LS motor (using a junk LS1 from a 98 Vette). I have a feeling I am going to need some help when it gets down to making this thing live...as LS2 stuff is all new to me. Should be using a PCM from a 07 trailblazer SS and a trans control module from the same vehicle. All accessories are C6 with the frame notched to clear the a/c compressor in the stock C6 location. Sorry for writing a book on my first post...just really excited about this opportunity to get to Carlisle this year! |

HI there, If its all going to be an 07, that means you will need a 4L70-E because that is what they were equipped with. That transmission is substantially different from the 4L60 so be cautious. Oh and by the way, finally looking forward to meeting you Chris. Allthebest, c4c5 |
