rod and piston question

are the rods press fitted on piston pins or do they have clips to hold pin in, otherwise floating or pressed??

2003 zo6, I ask because the ones I took out of a 1-owner motor with 18,000 miles on it were pressed. car was built in late 2002, around dec I think.

2003 zo6 made around Dec 2002, it is original engine and has pressed pins in rods/pistons...is this correct?? Also when did the floating pin/piston start or stop...thanks.

Sorry for the delay.

2005 LS2 was when the floating piston pins were introduced in Corvette.

And they have been used ever since.
