Not wanting to hijack someone else's thread about carbon buildup, I am posting a new one. BG44K seems to be the most suggested product. I wanted to know if the Redline gas treatment was anywhere close to being as good. Has anyone had experience with it? If so, how do the two compare?

In my opinion Redline gas treatment would be comparable to Techron Concenterate. BG44K would be better for removing carbon deposits, Redline and Techron are more used for fuel system cleaning of sending unit cards and injectors. All three are good choices, but if you have a known (or suspected) carbon build up problem, BG44K will remove it a little faster per tank full. | |||||||||||||||||||||
