2009 ZO6 11K miles Ther are several, intentially made, very fine scratches on the top of my rear bumper. My guess is somebody used a small, sharp pocket knife. Can a repair shop fix these without replacing the whole bumper? I don't want to tear the car a part. Thank you for your time in advance. Richard D. Cadena | ||||||||||||||||||||

HI there, If there is no tear in the cover itself, it can be repainted without fear of warpage or distortion. The key is that the cover MUST be taken off the car to properly prep the surface and sand out the scratches. Then, the paint applied and baked prior to reinstallation. Allthebest, c4c5 |
