HI there,

The correct spark plugs are ACDelco 41-110.

They are Iridium tipped and should last a good long time.

We usually inspect them every 30k, but they usually do not require replacement for 100,000 miles.

Allthebest, c4c5

If you car's engine is unmodified, then the factory plugs work quite well. As Paul said, they usually last 100K without strarting/drivability problems.

If you are going to inspect them, put a dab of oil on the threads upon reinstallation.

EDITED (from old school methods!)

HI there,

NO ANTISEIZE ON THE THREADS OF THE SPARK PLUGS IN ANY WAY>

Sorry, Norty, but that can inhibit ground source and create other issues.

GM says one drop of synthetic engine oil and torque to 11 ft lbs.

Speaking of spark plugs. My 2006 Z06 has over 100k mi now, and it's time to replace them. c4c5, should I use the same kind as you suggested above for the original poster of this thread, or does the LS7 require another plug and torque value?

Thanks,

HI there,

LS7 requires 41-104 spark plugs torqued to the same value.

Ok, I have put this off for long enough. I'm now at over 106k miles on my 2006 C6 Z06. I'm starting to notice occasional rough starts, hopefully new plugs will fix this.

Either way it's time th change the spark plugs. I bought my ACDelco 41-104's.

c4c5, do I need to change the gap setting, or are they set at the correct gap out of the box?

Thanks,
tmoorez06

Please post up a close up picture of your old plug tips. Or, at least describe their condition.
